Tanzania is set to officially launch the Supply Chain, Mobility and Logistics (SML Awards) 2026, a premier awards initiative established to recognize, celebrate and promote excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions across the supply chain, mobility and logistics sectors.

The launch event is expected to bring together leaders from the public and private sectors, industry professionals, logistics service providers, supply chain practitioners, transport operators, development partners, investors and other key stakeholders to mark the beginning of a new platform dedicated to advancing industry excellence.

The SML Awards 2026 aim to honor individuals, organizations and companies that have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, sustainability and leadership in transforming supply chain and logistics operations while contributing to Tanzania’s economic growth and regional competitiveness.

In addition to recognizing outstanding achievements, the initiative seeks to foster collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing, promote the adoption of modern technologies and inspire best practices across the industry.
